I need a job for college.?
Right now I’m afraid i wont be able to pay for college unless I get a good job over this summer. I’ve thought of almost everything but the well paying jobs require experience I don’t have. I only have like a years worth of retail experience working a cash register but that’s it. I’m also a eagle scout but I cant think of any skills that I obtained from being an eagle scout that would be useful for a job. if anybody knows where I could find a job that pays around 15 dollars per hour with long hours then please tell me. Any help would be appreciated.
In most areas waiting tables will average @ $10 per hour… Even thought he base pay is below minimum wage, tips make up the difference…. You will have some days under $7 per hour & some @ $20 per hour…. Averaging out to @ $10 per hour… That is probably the highest pay you will get
in this economy, even people who already have college degrees are having to accept things like $10 per hour wait staff jobs because $15 an hour jobs just aren’t available
Would it be easier to take more college classes in the summer and fewer during the regular semesters?
If it were possible to take just summer and spring semester courses and no fall semester courses, wouldn’t that be like getting a 4 month break to get a job or find an internship or do other useful things? Sure, it would be a lot more work and probably result in burning out, but it would free up loads of time.
I’m not actually intent on doing this, but I was just wondering hypothetically.
If you’re on financial aid, it might be harder to pay for the summer classes.
Anybody know anything about college students living and working in Ireland for a summer?
My and my friends (six in total and all college students) would like to live in Ireland next summer. We would have to get jobs and find a place to live. I dont even know where to begin! If anybody could give me a few suggestions that would be great. Thanks
Galway is full of students so you will fit straight in.
Jobs are a bit tight here in Ireland but flexible hours are desired more.
My brother has a part time job and is at Galway University so I suggest you start your search in Galway.
Somewhere near a place called Salthill.
I have a big problem with getting a summer job..HELP!?
NEED a job to save up money for college and a car (almost none of the money will be used for anything fun). Unfortunately, there aren’t any local businesses within walking distance and I can’t ride a bike anywhere because the only way to get around my city is by highways (I’m not exaggerating). There is a place about 10-15 miles from home that I’m thinking about finding a job at.
My dad is out of work right now and he can drive me at this point in time. He had an interview and is up for a job at the same place my mom works at..if he gets this job I will probably get to use his car because they will carpool to work. Either situation works.
BUT if my dad gets a job somewhere else…I have no way to get to work.
My mom can’t drop me off in the morning because she goes to work around 7 and the stores there don’t open until 9ish.
WHAT DO I DO?! I reaaaally need a job. Not like most other kids get a job..I actually need it.
There is NO public transportation anywhere close to here. so no, that is not an option.
She might have to drop you off at 7 am — yeah, you’ll be early, but you’ll have a job. Bring along a good book or your MP3 player. Ask the boss if there is anything you could be doing early — cleaning up, getting ready for the day, etc. He might like having someone come in earlier.
Once you start working there, there may be someone that works there that lives near you that you can carpool with — offer to help with the gas. Even if it’s just two or three days a week, that would help.

Unique Summer Job??
This summer coming up is going to be my last summer before going away to college, and I wanted to find a job that’s interesting, but also pays a lot. The best one I’ve found so far is tree planting…but I’m not too sure I’m cut out for that. Do you know of anything in Alaska (or anywhere else for that matter) that is different from any other job (not working in a restaraunt, and not being a nanny!!) and will pay relatively good?
I do have quite high first aid training…if there’s anything that can incorporate that it would be great.
I should add that I’m hoping to find a job away from home…so nothing in the community.
I don’t know how many swimming pools you can find in alaska, but first-aid skills + great summer job = lifeguard
I am a college grad with a resume geared toward finding a teaching job but….?
this summer I am trying to find a lifeguarding job. Many places want resumes. What kind of resume should I bring with me? Should I just bring my most recent professional resume thats geared toward a teaching job….which also states my lifeguarding experience. Or should I make a new one and disregard the fact I’m trying to be a teacher too? Help!!!!!!
Fix the one you have to show up your athletic ability, cpr training, certifications, etc
If I’m going away for 6 days in July, can I still get a summer job?
I’m a college student with no work experience, and I could really use some extra money for books, food, etc. next year. I’ve been trying to find a summer job, but I’m going away for 6 days in the middle of July (an aunt offered me and a friend 6 days free in a disney hotel, which would have cost around $1000 I think) and this seems to be getting in the way of me getting hired.
Is there anywhere that would be willing to hire someone with no work experience going away for 6 days? I can only take a summer job–I’ll be leaving home for college at the very end of August. I’ve been trying to stay away from fast food, but I would be willing to work there if I cant find anywhere else.
You can probably get a job in retail. Most stores hire seasonal employees.
When I was 17 and had almost no work experience (I had had 1 under the table job), I was hired at PacSun even though I was gone for a week in July.
Go to the mall and ask everyone if they’re hiring. If they are, apply! Don’t say anything about going on vacation unless there’s a spot for it on the application.
Summer job ideas?
I just finished my senior year of high school (yay!!) and I need to find a job this summer to make some money before I leave for college. Do you have any ideas as to where I should apply? What about places I should avoid? Also, I can’t stand fast food restaurants, so that’s out of the question.
I’m sorry, but WalMart sucks.
Try working at an animal shelter. It may give you some of the service hours that you may need to graduate also.
Or try going to the mall and working at footlocker or something like that, you would get employee discounts and a paycheck.

How can I find a summer job in Montreal?
I am a teacher so I have this summer off. I really want to do somthing different, but I’m willing to do anyting (almost Ideas are retail, tour guide, or something really unusual. I’m open! I’d prefer not to teach but the job has to support living there during the summer (another challenge).
Look for www.emploiquebec.net for students jobs and other kind of temporary jobs : retails stores, convenients stores hires people for temporarty, part times, full time or summer times. Usually around minimum wage (7.50$) or a little more. Teaching summer courses should be a lot more convenient and well paid, but I don’t know how you can get there, but you can try to call some colleges to ask : like Cégep de Saint-Laurent 514.747.6521 or University Concordia 514.848.2424 for instance.
If you’re out of Canada, get info about your obligations to get a permit for working here. Http://www.easyexpat.com/montreal_en/job_jobs.htm give some good advices for it and other jobs’ ideas.
Any tips for finding a summer job?
Hey So I am finishing school in a few weeks (June 27th, well, months, but to me it seems closer lol) and seeing as I am finishing my GCSEs I thought this summer would be the perfect opportunity to get some work experience and earn a bit of money.
I was thinking of applying for a job in my nearest shopping centre? I was wondering if you had any advice as to what companies to avoid, how I go about giving my CV in etc etc. I was also thinking of applying at the Apple Store? Would this be a problem at all?
Thanks in advanced x
You can find summer jobs using internet, there are lot of summer jobs available on net.
Where can I find a summer job in Scotland?
I’ve tried multiple searches on Google but to no luck – I’m not sure where to begin. I’m looking for any job that will pay my stay for the summer and I have no particular field that I need to work in. Any help searching would be appreciated!!
p.s. Is there a Craigslist for Scotland?
Bryanna, what nationality are you? Have you looked into whether or not you need a work permit before you arrive here, because if you are not a citizen of the European Economic Area, or cannot get the Ancestry visa you will not be able to work here legally without the work permit…
The rules and regulations can be found here…
If you are not a citizen of the EEA and are intending to stay here for a few months then you will have to prove to our immigration that you have the funds to support yourself whilst you are here. It’s not a problem if you are a citizen as you can just turn up and find a place to live and a job.
However, if you are eligible to come here to work then you could try the job centre plus as the majority of jobs are advertised there…
Would the guidance consellors at my school help me with finding a summer job?
It’s the end of June already and i’m scared that it’s too late for me to apply to most places for summer jobs. I applied for a summer youth jobs program, but my application got rejected so i’m jobless right now.
I’m desperate for a summer job, but i have NO volunteer/work experience…with nothing to put on my resume and i’ve never done an interview.
I want to talk to a guidance consellor at my highschool about applying for summer jobs. But i’m wondering, would they be able to help me out?
I’m 15 by the way.
Perfect place to go.
What should I do this summer if I don’t find a summer job?
I will be 17 years old in June and I will be graduating from high school. I have been looking for a job since April and no one has called me yet. So I need to continue applying at stores.
but what should I do this Summer if I don’t find a job??
Have you been submitting a cover letter with every resume? Look at job postings on websites like kijiji.ca
I think you may be able to find something
Work at a camp
do some courses perhaps?
Do a language immersion program (that’s what I did after grade 12 – was an amazing experience – for FREE, paid for by my govt b/c we are a bilingual country)
maybe u could ask your guidance counsellor about possibilities

How to find a job in another state?
i am moving back to NY in march and i need to get a head start in finding a job. whats the best way to go about this? i have applied to places with online application but i want to aply to as manny places as possible. im not looking for a career just a temporary part/full time job for the end of much through the summer.
This is going to be almost impossible.
- Employers are reluctant to hire people from other states.
- Employers want local people that they can immediately call for an interview
- Employers may think that you just want a job and quit to move later on.
- Employers know that plans can change for you.
= Wish you lots of luck with this one.

Where can i find out about TV work experience?
Hey, because i want to work in the Television/Film industry when i’m older, i’m looking at doing some work experience.or getting a summer job as a runner or something, i’m just wondering where i could find work experience placements/job places online?
I would try all the tv channels such as the BBC etc, you have to do a good search on the web page itself to find the work experience section then send them your details. Its best to start sending out CV’S etc early as work experience in Television is very popular.
im a full-time student trying to find a part-time job?

what would you say is the most efficient way to find a job?
i know monster(dotcom), but doing an application is such a hassle, and takes too long…
anyone got a good advice for me?
BASICALLY TO SUM IT UP
what is the most efficient way to search for a job?
- filling an online application
- filling the application in person, going to the specific department urself
- calling them ,and giving them youre number
Call around and ask to speak with the manager or hiring manager. I would ask if there are any positions opened and that you are interested in the poisition. They will have you fill out an application and just have a quick resume attached. Keep calling to let them know you’re interested, it shows you want the job and you’re taking intiative to become employed. Good luck on getting a job. This has never failed me.

how hard is it to find a job at mcdonalds in NYC?
I have been looking for work almost the entire summer time. i have tried everywhere. supermarkets, m,any resturaunts and alot of corperate places like staples. i havent tried McDonalds yet though. i also have to mention that im 21 with absolutely no work experience and i just completed high school. this sounds bad but in my defence i didnt give up on school. my parents didnt want me to work and school at the same time because they thought i would just drop out. now i have to work because im going off to college. i need to know if its hard to get a job at mcdonalds in queens new york for a 21 year old with no work experience? is it possible to apply to more than 1 mcdonalds how many days should i wait to call back and see how my application is doing? please help me answer these questions…i really need to work…thank you if you read this much!!! :}
Congratulations some people give up so it doesn’t matter how old u r.
You can try McDonald’s they are always hiring and yes put in applications to more than one of them because they are not all run by the same company. If you know where the mall is you know where the mall is apply for every store.
Good luck on your job search
I’m planning to getaway , what do i need?
In my situation , i should run away just to give my self some time alone. Obviously i’m to young to run away and i probably won’t even have enough money to run away some place so that’s why i’m going to wait like a year or two. I just need a plan. Money , of course , transportation , food , etc…
I know i need to get a job , save up about 600 dollars. I could save even more money to buy a car but Thad take forever. I’m trying to be rebellious before i turn 18. i’ll probably just take a friend who has their license or whatever. I live in Maryland and all i need is a place to run away too. Florida? nah, i go their every summer. New York , just went . same with ocean city and Myrtle beach. I guess i can’t go anywhere to extreme… so help me find a place along the east coast that’s perfect to go to?
Ps : I would tell at least my older sister that i’m running away.
Well i have the same problem but what you need is some canned food, water, clothes, money, maybe a weapon like brass knuckles or a knife cuz you never know what is going to happen , sleeping bag, fake id,and your best friend (if you trust him). This is what i need for when i go to mexico or vegas.
Fluent speakers–can someone translate these into Spanish for me please?
I have to have a conversation in front of the Spanish class today, and I want a base to start out my topics so I don’t freeze up. Would someone pleaseplease translate these for me so I have an idea of how to start my oral? I’m terrified of public speaking. Thank you so much!!
1. The economy is the worst I’ve ever seen. I know it was worse during the Great Depression, but I never imagined it could get this bad. I have considered moving to a big city to find a job because this job pays so little and I’m having trouble finding a new one. All of my credit card bills are past due, and I can’t seem to pay off my debts. I had to take out a loan against my house in order to pay for my son’s college tuition. I don’t know how I will ever pay it back with my current salary. If I had known before how bad the economy would get, I would have made investments and figured out how to save more money. Now, it seems hopeless.
2. The best spring vacation is traveling to New York City. My mother and I go every year to see the newest fashions and shop for summer clothes. New York is beautiful in the spring because there are so many people in the parks and on the streets enjoying the weather. The street vendors are out selling hot dogs, and there are festivals in the parks. My favorite part about going on vacation in New York is the musicals. This year, my mother lost her job, so we can’t afford to see as many shows at the theater. If I had known earlier, I would have started saving. Anyway, we’ll have lots of fun this year.
3. Technology is developing so quickly. Every day, I’m amazed by the new advances. I can only imagine what it will be like in the future. The computers are already so advanced, but I think that soon all computers will have screens you can touch instead of keyboards. Also, I’m sure that new technology will emerge soon that makes even laptops much more portable. This will be great especially for me because I’m a reporter, and I take my laptop everywhere. If the computer is very tiny and light, it won’t put so much strain on my back. I also think that cars will stop running on gasoline soon. This will greatly reduce carbon emissions and save the planet. If people had known a long time ago what damage cars do to the earth, they would have started developing technology much sooner, I think. I love new technological developments because as a reporter, my life is all about efficiency.
I know it’s kind of heavy, but if you’re fluent it should only take a minute–I would be SO!! thankful. Please? Someone?

I’m 14 soon to be15 and there are not many jobs to select from. I love kids and think babysitting is my best bet. i need to know how to get a job babysitting at 15! i don’t want to put out fliers due to the fact my email or number will have to be on it. any ideas on ways to find mothers willing to let me babysit at 15? Hey u can approach 2-3 parents in your neighbourhood and tell him that you are a babysitter & like babysit around 2 kids at a time so in this way they might be happy to give u the child to take care of it or u might tell one of your aunt and her spread the word abt u (the babysitter), but ull havta prove to the other parents that you are a good babysitter of the kid by taking good care of them !
What should I say to my Rich Brother who calls me lazy because I can’t keep a full time job?
Because I have a problem with depression.
I’m taking whatever medicine my psychiatrist prescribes.
But it only helps solve 40% of the depression problem.
My rich brother became rich because he married a girl from a rich family who works in real estate.
His wife’s family owns buildings (I don’t know how many) in the New York City area.
My ???ambitious??? brother comes into work at 11:30 in the morning and usually leaves early at around 2:30 pm when he has to go to the bank to deposit the money that came in that day from people who rent space or apartments in buildings his wife’s family owns or manages.
And then he goes home for the rest of the day.
During the summer he leaves for his summer vacation home in Upstate New York Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm
And comes back at 1:00 pm the following Monday afternoon
And for the last 2 weeks of August he goes on a fancy Vacation trip somewhere
In December Christmas time he goes for another 2 week fancy vacation.
I once asked him if he would ever help me financially or help me find a good job and he said No.
My brother doesn’t seem to have the energy to help me. But he has enough energy to criticize me for being depressed.
Your brother is not worth wasting your time on-dont rely on him to help you, help yourself. Get a job yourself. Go to a support group/therapist, learn coping mechanisms to deal with the depression. Get a hobby, keep busy.

Need Help finding a job…PLEASE!!!?
I’m 15 and I would like to start working. I need the money. Badly… Can’t always live on mom and dad unfortunately…lol Well i was looking to work during school or the summer, but i don’t know where to work. I live in Bronx, New York. so it would be nice to work nearby…or even manhattan… just something… i know nothing about working… so please help!!! thnx…
My first job in the Bronx, New York was at Burger King. There are a million Burger Kings and McDonald’s all over the Bronx. Go to your school guidance counselor and get the form for a work permit which you need until the age of 16. Have your parents sign and return to your counselor. It’s that simple. Hell I was 15 over 20 years ago. You guys have it 100 times easier and yet you have no idea what the hell to do. And they said Generation X was the loser generation… Shows how much our politicians knew and know.

You can try selling avon, or a waiter/waitress job isnt that hard to get. You can get training for cutting hair, people are ALWAYS hiring for that type of job while im looking for one.
Does anyone know of a camp that accepts 17 year old counselors?
I’m going to be 17 summer 2011 and I really want to find a fun job away from the city. (i live in New York) I was thinking that a camp counselor would be perfect, but all camps seem to accept only counselors of 18 or older. If you know any camps that accept 17 year olds (or any other fun summer jobs) please let me know.. thanks!!!
Many camps accept 17 year olds as assistant counselors, usually a volunteer unpaid position, even 14 year olds can be counselors in training (CIT), a volunteer unpaid position. Check into your local camps about those positions if you are interested in volunteer positions. Many camps will first hire ex-campers into those positions, and generally to become a counselor, they want you to have experience as an assistant counselor, unless maybe you’ve gone through college classes (child development, etc).
Find out when camp hiring is going on, because some start in February, at least in my area. My son’s friends worked as CITs last summer and they loved it, even though they weren’t getting paid.
Good job for 17 year old girl: READ FURTHER?
I live in New York City and I have 5 years experience at a hospital doing clerical work. I answered phones, filed documents, handled applications, assisted people with questions and took messages. That is a lot of experience for someone my age and even tho its great, its still hard to find a job willing to allow a 17 yr old to work there. That job was only a summer job & that is the only reason i dont work there during the school year. I get out of school at 12:30 and would be willing to work about 4-5 hrs a day. I’m in my senior year of high school and there are A LOT of things to pay for, and even though my parents will pay for it, I want to help out as well. Any suggestions? Or New Yorkers, know of any openings? Hehe
PS: I put this in this category because I think I’ll get more suggestions here.
I’m sorry nobody’s helping you hon:
When I was 17 I worked at a bowling alley in Germany though, maybe you can try working there. Or, put in your application at every shop you can think of. I’m pretty sure NYC has a lot:-)
Good luck, with that kind of experience it should be real easy. Congratulations on your senior year too, God bless:)!

Internships for summer 2009?
Ok, so I’m in middle school. I’ll have graduated 8th grade and will be 14 by summer vacation. Is there any internships I could get in the Irvine, CA area? I know there are laws for working middle schoolers (we can’t), but does the laws apply to none paid internships? Or, could I get a paid internship? Is there a website that lists internships for middle schoolers or 14 year olds in Irvine? sorry so many q’s. Thanks!
We just had career day at my school and the people my class visited were offering internships or volunteering oppurtunities, but I’m not interested in those jobs. Anywhere I can look up internships or volunteer work in Irvine, CA? like a website maybe? I couldn’t find one. THANKS SO MUCH!
Internships won’t be allowed to pay you either. But you could volunteer at the hospital or library or something similar. If you really want to get some experience, that’s the best way to do it. If you don’t feel like volunteering, you’re unlikely to find anything else. Even many college internships don’t pay you.
Im 19 years old(turning 20 this year) and i barely have any work experience how can i get a job?
I’ve pretty much been carried almost all of my life. Simply going to school doing decently and such and my parents paid for everything. The only time i’ve ever work was back in the summer of 2009, NY was holding their yearly summer youth program and i got assigned to some summer camp where i could only worked for about 3 months.
Recently my father had to resign from being a safety officer for over 20 years at a psychiatric center. He was making good money, about 30 an hr and making around 85k yearly. Apparently he had a case in 1994 where he was convicted as a felony and if you know you cant be a police or security office as a felon. He did 4 years probation and obviously the job didn’t know about it. The case was involving heroin deals, and at the time he needed money to take care of the family because my mom wasnt working at the time and i was only 2 years old with another baby on the way(so please dont judge him harshly, it was the only mistake he did) Eventually the job found out and told him that he was going to be suspended for 2 days and most likely fired, So before he was going to get fired he resign so that he wouldn’t lose his pensions and stuff. Now hes getting a job as a plumber next week and i want to find some sort of work to help the family. Honestly i feel like a spoiled fool, im almost 20 with barely any work experience. All i have is that summertime work i did and some volunteering hours.
What can i do
Lower your standards and you don’t need any experience. I recommend you just try getting a job in a restaurant. Work your way up, you could still do it while studying if you want.
I feel useless because I cant find a job?
Im 23, I live at home with my parents. I graduated college in the summer of 2009 and have been looking for a job ever since. Ive filled out at least 500 hundred applications and no luck. I try to keep busy during the day going to the gym, bookstore or out with friends. Im so lucky in the fact my parents have money otherwise I would be on the street. Lately I feel myself slipping into a depression. I have no energy, my motivation has been slowly diminished, Im not sleeping well and I lost 20 pounds. Do you think I should seek help from a doctor, or give it a few more months to see if it will turn around. Please help.
Honestly, it’s that instinctive patriarchal mentality that’s putting you down. Every man wants to be able to hold down a job and make a family and take care of the family. You’re still 23, i really think you have some years before this should be a concern to you. You already graduated college, so take it easy and i’m sure a Job will come around (but keep in mind, there’s a terrible recession).
If the depression gets really bad – at least you were motivated to seek help on YA – then yes, it would be wise to consult a physician.
Give it time, it’ll all slip into place.
I want to move out of south FL up the east coast, south of VA How do I get started looking?
I want to stay on the coast. I have a profession that is easy to find a new job. I just don’t want to live here anymore. How and when do I start looking to find a nice place with a lower cost of living for me and my family? I don’t plan on leaving until the summer of 2009.
Get a map of the east coast and list the small towns along the coast where you’d like to live. Most of the towns will have websites. Pick a town, then look up its website for pictures, culture, activities, and such. That should help a little. Cheers! And Good luck with our futre move.
Should I try to stay in my house or deed in lieu of foreclosure?
I’m 30 years old, have 6 years of teaching experience and a master’s degree in my field.
My pay –due to a pay cut and loss of benefits two years ago is $28,000 a year. My monthly pay was and continues to be $840 twice a month. My monthly mortgage is $998. This leaves me in the red -$442 a month. My parents give me $300 a month, so I am only -$142 in the red.
I enrolled in graduate school in the Summer of 2009. I took out huge federal student loans both to pay for it and to keep me afloat in my home. I have a master’s degree in education. Today, however, I no longer have any student loans with which to buoy myself up with financially.
I am two months late on my mortgage payments and am currently 23 days away from foreclosure on my home. I closed my credit card accounts months ago. My HOA does not allow me to rent my home. And, I am not in a situation wherein I can have a roommate.
During this, my parents have been very supportive. I haven’t wanted to rely on my parents financially for a very long time and at this point I find it beyond humbling and humiliating and just plain-out shameful.
I was offered a teaching position that would pay me $14,000 more a year. The position required I receive a signed document wherein my current employer agrees to allow me to break my current contract. My current employer refused –as is his/her legal right- to let me leave my current position. Basically, this means that I can’t begin a better paying teaching position until August of 2011, and will not be paid for it until September 2011.
Fortunately, this week I did secure a summer job.
I am ready to let the house go. I hate it, and have always hated what it represents: Financial Prison. I have a house but I can’t go anywhere, do anything or spend any money because of it. I am stuck in it all the time. I’ve talked to the bank and I am out of options; I need to pay up or lose the house.
I ran numbers. If I become a public school teacher my salary in the state would range from $43,000 to $48,000. Even though this is a huge raise for me, it would still not really enable me to save much money, and that is what I want to do. Additionally, there aren’t many jobs available this year as more teacher cuts are expected none of the jobs being listed are driving distance to my home. I need to be able to move for work.
I called up the friend of the family who sold me the house to discuss my options. She recommended that I focus on finding a new job, and do what I can to make the smallest payments possible on my home. The reasoning is that I will preserve a place to live and if I find work far away can lose the house without throwing away more mortgage payments than necessary. And, if I do find work close by, I have still preserved my home. This is, based on all of my exhaustive research on the topic, good advice.
The only issue is that I am at the foreclosure point. My parents have an apartment above their garage and I asked about moving in for 6 mos. I figure I could do a deed in lieu of foreclosure, pay my parents enough to cover utilities, and then save what I would be paying towards a mortgage. It would hit my credit hard, but not as hard as foreclosure.
Since I have been so reliant financially upon my parents they have a great deal of thoughts this matter and they want me to keep the house at all costs. They feel it may not be time to let the house go and don’t want me to take on the stigma of foreclosure. They want me to bring over all of my bill, bank, and mortgage statements for them to review and then –most likely- give me money to help me survive.
I don’t want to take more of their money. I feel I am in a sinking ship financially and don’t want them to throw away any more money on it. I also feel very educated about my options and my situation and don’t wish to be further humiliated by showing all of my financials to my parents (and I think it very unnecessary as I don’t want their money) But, I know they feel very strongly this is inaccurate. I don’t feel that moving into their garage apartment is an option. And, I’m concerned renting elsewhere will just cost more money.
This weekend I am selling off most of my personal belongings I am keeping my couch, my tv, my tv stand, microwave, bed, dresser, my desk, and my tech equipment (usb drives, laptop, computer). I’m hoping this will give me an emergency fund for whatever my next move might be.
To be honest, I don’t have money to pay the $998 in the next 23 days to keep me out of foreclosure, and I feel like it is throwing away money.
I am so stressed out. I have no idea what move to make, and I want to make an educated move.
You will not be able to avoid foreclosure, that is obvious.
See if they will do a deed in lieu, if they do you will be able to keep the money they gave you.
They may refuse, especially if you had a co-signer, but it is worth a shot.
